Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the rental services provided by Dax & Bo DIY Decor Co., LLC (“Dax & Bo Decor”). By booking with me, you agree to these terms.

Booking and Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your rental items and event date.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before pickup or delivery.

  • A 20% refundable damage deposit is added to all rentals.

Rental Policies

  • Minimum rental order is $100.

  • Free local pickup available from the Otsego location during designated hours. Please coordinate pickup times in advance.

  • Delivery is available within a 30-mile radius of Otsego for a flat fee of $35. Delivery beyond this radius is available upon request with a custom quote.

  • Rentals must be returned by the agreed-upon date (usually the Monday following your event). Return pickup is not available; clients are responsible for returning items on time to avoid late fees or damage charges.

  • Please handle all items carefully during pickup, delivery, and return to avoid damage.

Rental Periods

  • Standard wedding rentals run Wednesday through Monday. Other events may have custom rental periods—please inquire.

  • Rental rates are based on the items rented, not the length of the rental.

Use and Care of Rentals

  • You agree to use rented items responsibly and return them in the condition received, allowing for normal wear and tear.

  • Cleaning and removal of personal decorations (e.g., flowers, vinyl) are your responsibility.

  • Late returns or damaged/lost items may result in deductions from your damage deposit or additional charges.

  • All candle rentals are LED candles due to common venue restrictions. If you choose to use real/open flame candles with rented items, you assume full responsibility for any damages to the rental items or venue property.

Battery & Remote Returns

  • All LED candles are battery-operated and may come with a remote depending on the design or brand. Please return candles with batteries and any remotes included and in working condition. Missing or dead batteries or remotes may result in replacement charges.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup: Free local pickup is available from the Otsego location during designated hours. Please coordinate pickup times in advance.

  • Delivery: Delivery is available within a 30-mile radius of Otsego for a flat fee of $35. Delivery beyond this radius is available upon request with a custom quote.

  • Return: All rentals must be returned by the agreed-upon date (usually the Monday following your event). Return pickup is not available; clients are responsible for returning items on time to avoid late fees or damage charges.

Taxes

  • All rentals are subject to Minnesota state sales tax.

  • For items picked up locally, Wright County sales tax of 7.375% applies (Minnesota state tax plus county tax).

  • For deliveries, local taxes will be applied based on the delivery address’s city or municipality.

  • Taxes will be calculated and included in your final invoice.

Cancellations and Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be communicated as early as possible.

  • Changes to orders can be made up to 14 days before pickup or delivery.

Liability

  • Dax & Bo DIY Decor Co. is not responsible for injury, damages, or losses related to the use of rental items.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dax & Bo from claims arising from your event or use of rentals.

Privacy

  • Your personal information will be handled as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
